I have not always been a believer of manifestation.

Vision boards, saying it into existence, or just believing something would work.

It sounded like wishful thinking at most.

Then I realized, manifesting something requires more than saying a goal out loud.

Manifestation isn’t like making a magic genie wish and hoping it comes true.

It’s telling yourself you will achieve a goal AND also working hard towards that goal.

One of my manifestations last year was that I would beat my 5K race time from the previous year.

It actually came true.

However, I didn’t just say it and sit on the couch.

I went to the gym every week and trained for it so I could achieve that goal.

I won’t lie.

I was talking myself out of finishing in the middle of the race but with a year’s worth of training I had no choice but to push forward.

So here’s where I’ve landed

Manifestation works, but not from the couch.

Unless your goal is to become a couch potato.

That’s the line between wishful thinking and manifesting something into existence.

A few of my actual manifestations, the ones I’m working toward right now:

My current fitness manifestations

  • I will lose 5 pounds by the end of the year

My blog manifestations

  • I will increase my blog views by 30% by the end of the year
  • I will create at least 4 more personal fatherhood story blogs by the end of the year
  • I will reach at least 90 followers on my instagram by the end of the year
  • I will gain at least 3 meaningful connections on LinkedIn

What are you manifesting at the moment?

Share below so we can hold ourselves accountable 💪

Are you taking steps to fuel that goal?
