Our first Episode was recorded on December 2nd, 2023. We literally brought up the podcast idea again and decided just to rip the band-aid off and go for it. It was WAY past my bedtime lol. They call me Grandpa Brandon on the podcast because I usually go to sleep around 9 PM (I have a 1-year-old son and the wife & I like to maintain the sleep routine). So at 9 PM we are already knocked out for the day.

Late night

However, on this day, we met up at around 11 PM and decided to record. Two hours later, we had our first session recorded. Without exaggeration, from the moment forward I’ve learned a few skills and also some facts about myself. One of them being I am a tad obsessed!

From the moment we recorded, I started researching podcast host platforms. Not to mention looking into how we would make our mark on social media and the whole enchilada.

At this point, I had learned how to edit audio and found out about Spotify for Podcasters. Which made it incredibly easy to start sharing our podcast!

If you have not listened to our podcast, our first Episode can be found here. I will say, for our first trial don’t judge it so harshly. We were just learning the ropes, but I guarantee if you click play while you eat or drive around, it will feel like you are sitting at the table with us eating Korean BBQ and talking about anything.
