Weight: 350 pounds

Date: 02/07/25 – 02/16/25

One of the biggest challenges the comes with my weight loss journey is the FOOD.

This past week has been a struggle when it comes to eating. I have mainly been sticking to intermittent fasting this month and its pretty easy when I’m working.

I work from home so I can easily hold on eating especially if I’m busy. I start eating at 12 pm and then stop at 6 pm. My goal is always to reach enough protein intake and stay in a calorie deficit.

Lately though, the days I’m off work or when we go out have been difficult to keep in control.

MID MID MID

This week has been, as I’ve said in my Instagram stories, MID. My food intake especially was not good at all and my workouts had literally no pump.

I really went over my calorie intake and basically had no deficit all week. With Valentine’s day and other things happening in my life, I wasn’t able to hold my cravings.

Jack in the Crack

I made the mistake of falling for the Drive thru quick eat pattern again. I ate some Jack in the box which honestly you can pick and choose around your calorie intake(but I didn’t).

Unfortunately, I went overboard. I remember I ate 2 crispy chicken wraps (could have been grilled) and on top of that a chicken sandwich! That’s almost 1500 calories!

Each wrap is under 450 calories so eating 1 would have done the trick but nah had to overdo it.

And that was just the start. I also went overboard at my father in laws restaurant.

Usually I eat a taco salad which is basically rice and chicken with a taco shell bowl. It’s a lot of food but also within the caloric limits.

This past visit though I ate 3 tacos de fajita and 3 tacos de huevo and bacon! A total of 6 tacos! And they are not small.

Bright side

As some glass half full person would say, there’s always a bright side. Even though I went past calorie limits for sure.

I still managed to lose 5 pounds so that’s a semi win!

Thank you for reading this longer blog post but had a lot to say.

Hopefully next week won’t be so bad(mid)!
