People who work out early in the morning often don’t share one unspoken truth. The incredible tiredness you have as a result!

In my journey, I have been waking up at 3 in the morning. I have been working out at 4 am for 4 weeks because its the best option for me.

Especially being a father, I felt that I am needed least when everyone is asleep. I know that may sound crazy but its honestly the best way for me to have that liberty.

Working out for 2 hours just can’t fit my schedule at other times.

I’m tired Grandpa

At first, my workout split was the entire week. I had to change my plan when I realized that waking up at 3 AM every single day was not gonna work.

Along with being tired from all other things that go in my day. I was now losing 3 hours of sleep EVERY DAY.

I really started feeling a toll when it would be around 3 pm. I would feel a strong urge just to go to sleep.

I know you are all like ok? Why not just go to sleep?

Well, I am a father of 2 so when I get off of work.

My job doesn’t end at work. I now have to take care of these kiddos, which doesn’t allow me to sleep or rest.

That’s too damn bad

Just cause the full week split was not gonna work for me. Doesn’t mean I was just gonna give up. Big no no.

Now my split is 3 days. That way I rest on Tuesday and Thursday.

Waking up at 3 am for only 3 days is a huge difference because I get to rest in between. Hence, if you are having a similar struggle and losing ZZZ’s.

Take a look at your workout schedule and modify it as best you can. I know sleep is one of the key factors in weight loss.

It won’t matter how much you workout if you are not getting that needed sleep.

Again, thank you for reading and keeping up with my journey!
