I knew this week I wouldn’t be able to workout as much as I usually do. However, I was NOT expecting what actually happened.
This week, my family and I were planning our first family trip to Disney. We were also planning my son’s birthday this same week.
Before the trip, I planned my workout split out. I did a few days here in Dallas and was planning to do some workout days over in California.
Of course though, You know what they say, “Tu haces y dios deshace.” Meaning, you can plan something out, but it won’t always work out.
No pun intended since I for sure did not workout lol
NOT THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH
Disneyland was not the happiest place on earth. Especially me who caught the FLU. I spent 3 out of the 4 days with high fever and basically suffering every single day.
I still managed to walk the parks and hang out with my family but I was definitely not the vibe.
I was not happy at all and all I wanted was to sleep. My wife would try to show me things and I just did not want to hear it.
Can you blame me though? Fever with a huge headache and feeling like crap. Yeah, no fun at all.
Blessing in Disguise
Although I hate how this came about and obviously not a good way to do it. I did lose some weight! I lost 10 pounds to be exact.
I guess not eating and sweating gallons of water from fevers really jump started my weight loss.
I also spent every day walking around the Disney parks so all that combined actually helped.
I know my weeks show mostly bad luck. At least I’m still losing weight, so I am still on track.
Thanks for reading!
